Welcome to Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Borgaon, Satara

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra is a district level Farm Science Center established by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi & Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri at Satara District for speedy transfer of technology to the farmers’ fields. The aim of Krishi Vigyan Kendra is to reduce the time lag between Generation of technology at the research institutions and it's transfer to the farmer's field for increasing production, productivity and income from the agriculture and allied sectors on a sustained basis.

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Borgaon Tal. Dist. Satara established in the year 2010 under ICAR-ATARI, Pune Zone-VIII and Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri.Satara District comprises of total 11 Tahsils out of which 6 Tahsils viz. Satara, Phaltan, Wai, Mahabaleshwar, Jaoli, Khandala comes under the jurisdiction of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Borgaon.
